Green Tourmaline with Lepidolite & Quartz on Albite from Chhappu, Pakistan
A beautiful and highly detailed green tourmaline, lepidolite, and quartz specimen from Chhappu, Braldu Valley, Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
This miniature specimen features numerous fine green tourmaline crystals scattered across a bright white albite matrix, with secondary quartz growth adding sparkle and texture throughout the piece. Some crystals show blue-toned terminations and interesting hollow or tubular crystal structures, giving the specimen extra character under magnification.
There is also minor lepidolite present, adding to the classic Pakistani pegmatite association. The overall display is very aesthetic, with bright luster, rich green color, and a busy, intricate crystal arrangement.
Please note that some tourmaline crystals are broken, but the main display remains attractive and very collectible.
