Bicolor Tourmaline on Quartz from Minas Gerais, Brazil

A unique bicolor tourmaline and quartz specimen from Minas Gerais, Brazil. This small miniature features doubly terminated quartz intergrown with colorful tourmaline crystals showing attractive “green cap” zoning.

One tourmaline crystal protrudes from the quartz and displays a strong hexagonal prismatic form with classic color zoning. The specimen has an interesting sculptural look, with tourmaline crystals visible on multiple sides of the quartz. Please note that one crystal has some damage, and the quartz shows natural wear, but the piece still has strong collector appeal and a very distinctive composition.
